COMBATING HUNGER IN PLETT!

COVID-19 is causing economic hardship on an unimaginable scale … and already we’re already supporting families who need food and life’s basic hygiene necessities. And we know it’s going to get worse the longer the shutdown persists!

Edu-Plett is an NPO established in 2014, predominantly working in Kwanokuthula and other surrounding townships in the greater Plett area.

We have established a food bank to ensure the most vulnerable don’t go hungry.

We’ve had a commitment we can buy food at cost. And now we need your help to raise money to buy the food to feed the hungry.

R800 will buy the essentials for a family of five for 2/3 weeks. We need to raise enough for 100 families – that’s 500 people.

Alternatively, please donate food and we also need gloves, masks, soaps and sanitizers, which will be needed when we deliver the food parcels. Call Noksie on 076-788-9599 for more info!

COVID-19 will only be defeated if we work together as Plett residents. We must keep in mind that this virus does not discriminate and affects everyone, no matter the s*x, race, age or creed.

Please help with whatever you can!
