The afternoon begins… 🌿🥂

Before the programme got underway, our guests arrived to a warm welcome, refreshing drinks and delicious finger food, with plenty of time to settle in, mingle and take in the beautiful surroundings. 🍓🍹

For those ready to unwind, our pampering station offered a little moment of relaxation, with soothing massages and luxurious creams and lotions from Avroy Shlain Southern Africa, helping our guests settle into the afternoon feeling refreshed and at ease. 💆🏽‍♀️🌸

And what a setting it was! From the elegant décor and beautiful tables to the wonderful atmosphere filling the hall, every detail helped set the tone for a very special afternoon. ✨🌿

With Ms. S. Moodley taking to the microphone, joined by Ms. S. Mfino, the afternoon was officially underway. 🎤👑

Pinetown Senior Primary School was delighted to welcome a wonderful gathering of ladies to our very first Women’s Day Ladies’ Luncheon Fundraiser, held as part of our special 140th Anniversary year. 🌿🥂

Dazzling in their Glamour in Green and Gold, our guests brought so much warmth, laughter and energy to the afternoon. From inspiring conversations and wonderful guest speakers to fun games, pampering stations, exciting prizes, a best-dressed competition and plenty of opportunities to simply enjoy one another’s company, it truly was an afternoon filled with beautiful moments. 💚

The initiative was spearheaded by Ms. Saloshni Moodley, who also served as our host and Programme Director for the day, alongside her co-host, Ms. Sesethu MaRadebe (Mfino). Together, they helped guide us through a wonderful programme that kept our guests entertained and engaged throughout the afternoon. 👏🏽

We were honoured to welcome three inspiring guest speakers who each brought something special to the occasion: Mrs. Cheryl Reddy, Headmistress of Senior Primary at St Mary's DSG, Kloof; Ms. Prashna Prithipal, Senior Product Marketing Specialist at Old Mutual South Africa; and Dr. Aloysia Shanessa Ogle, Medical Practitioner and Author. Their stories, experiences and insights made for some truly meaningful moments. 🌸 🎀🎁

A sincere thank you to Mrs. Priyashnee Gopaul, who played an important role behind the scenes as our music and technical support, helping to prepare the music, manage the playlist and keep things running smoothly throughout the afternoon. We would also like to thank Mrs. Letce Du Preez, Ms. Dainelle Eksteen and the many others who worked behind the scenes and played a part in bringing this event to life. We would also like to thank Avroy Shlain Southern Africa for being part of our beauty and pampering experience, helping our guests relax and enjoy a little well-deserved self-care. 💆🏽‍♀️🌺

From sack races and obstacle challenges to hockey stick dribbling and plenty of smiles, our Pinetown Senior Primary School- Remedial Unit Sports Day was filled with courage, determination and joy.

Every learner gave it their all, cheered one another on and reminded us that the greatest victories come from participating, trying your best and having fun.

The 100-metre races are always among the most anticipated moments of our Remedial Unit Sports Day, and this year was no different.

At the sound of the whistle, our young athletes gave it their all, racing towards the finish line with determination, courage and big smiles. Every learner who stepped onto the track showed incredible heart, and we are so proud of each and every one of them.

Congratulations to our 1st, 2nd and 3rd place finishers, and well done to every participant for making the races so exciting. 💚 🏅💚

Our 2026 Pinetown Senior Primary School- Remedial Unit Sports Day may have been cut short by the weather, but it certainly didn't dampen the spirit of the day. From exciting races to proud podium moments, our learners embraced every opportunity with enthusiasm, courage and joy.

Guests can look forward to inspiring speakers, a delicious three-course meal, fabulous prizes, a photo booth experience, and the opportunity to win over R5 000 worth of prizes.

Every ticket purchased contributes towards the continued growth of our school and our preparations for Pinetown Senior Primary School’s 140th Anniversary celebrations.
