As part of Elangeni TVET College's advocacy during TVET Month, College Principal, Mrs TJ Kula, spoke at the St Andrew’s Anglican Church Women’s Day Celebration held at the Premier Hotel Durban on Sunday, 15 August 2026. Principal Kula presented on the value of TVET education, ETVET’s transition from NATED programmes towards Occupational Programmes, and the exciting opportunities available to young people through skills-based education. The engagement provided an important opportunity to connect with parents, young people, and the wider community.

As Elangeni TVET College continues to expand its Occupational Programmes, engagements such as these are vital in helping communities understand the changing TVET landscape and the diverse career pathways available to young people. In the coming weeks, Principal Kula will continue visiting churches and community platforms, engaging with young people and parents to promote the value of a TVET education and create greater awareness of the opportunities available at Elangeni TVET College.

💰 Bursary: R350 000 or less per annum — fully funded.
💳 Student Loan: R350 001–R600 000 per annum — repayable once you are earning.
♿ Applicants living with a disability: The combined household income cap is R600 000 per annum.
