Cebolenkosi Shobede qualified as a Diesel Mechanic at the end of 2025 and has since gone on to start his career and become gainfully employed.
Now, as he pops in to collect his trade test certificate, it’s wonderful to catch up with him, and hear how his journey is progressing. These are the moments that remind us why we do what we do.
We are incredibly proud of Cebolenkosi and all our apprentices who have worked hard and are now building their careers in the industry.

Part 2: Taking the Aisle Master from the yard into the warehouse, where precision and control are everything.
Watch Jabu put the operator through their paces as they manoeuvre this impressive machine through the narrow warehouse aisles.
Practical training. Real machines. Real skills.

Our instructor, Jabu, has spent the week at Meraki Agri Solutions conducting training on the Articulated Very Narrow Aisle Lifting machine. Also known as the "Aisle Master".

Part 1 started in the yard. Stay Tuned for Part 2, to see how the Operator maneuvered the Aisle Master inside the warehouse.

This weekend, rugby reminded us that talent alone doesn’t win games.
You need Teamwork. Discipline. Trust. Ex*****on
Honestly, the same is true on a construction site.
You can have the best machine in the yard, but without a skilled operator behind the controls, it’s just a machine.
At Rankin Skills Training, we don't just put people in the seat.
We teach them to understand the machine, operate it safely, build confidence, and develop a skill they can take into the workplace.
Because whether you're in the scrum or in the cab, success comes down to knowing your role, trusting your training, and executing when it matters.
