One of the highlights of our visit was getting the chance to use a real fire hose! 💦🚒 The children were so excited and loved experiencing firsthand what it takes to be a firefighter. Today our little learners at Kids@Home Early Learning Centre had an exciting and educational visit from the amazing team at Wynberg Fire House! 👨‍🚒❤️

Our children loved learning all about fire safety, meeting real firefighters, exploring the fire engine, and discovering the important role firefighters play in keeping our communities safe. The excitement on their faces said it all! 🚒✨

A heartfelt thank you to the dedicated firefighters for taking the time to visit us, share your knowledge, and inspire our children. We truly appreciate all that you do for our community every single day. 💛

Bafana Bafana Spirit Day at Kids@Home! 💛💚🇿🇦

Today our little stars and teachers proudly dressed up in support of Bafana Bafana! From Springbok jerseys and South African flags to colourful outfits from around the world, our school was filled with team spirit, excitement, and lots of smiles.
Teaching our children about supporting our country, celebrating diversity, and cheering on our teams together. The children loved waving their flags and showing off their special outfits!

Panda Class Adventure at Maison Play Area!

Our little Pandas (3 months – 2 years) had a wonderful outing to the Maison Play Area at Paddocks Shopping Centre!

The children explored the imaginative mini market, discovering colourful fruits and vegetables, practising their shopping skills, and engaging in lots of pretend play. 🍎🥕🍌

These experiences help develop language, social interaction, confidence, and early problem-solving skills—all while having fun! Watching our little ones explore, learn, and play together was truly special. ❤️

A big thank you to Maison Play Area for providing such a beautiful, child-friendly space for our Pandas to learn through play. 🐼✨

Starfish Class Morning Fun!

Our 2–3 year olds had a wonderful morning enjoying ring time with Teacher Nellie! From singing and chatting to learning and laughing together, our little stars were fully engaged and having so much fun.

A special highlight of our Wednesday was welcoming Sarah from 🎶✨. The children absolutely love their music session each week, and it is always such a treat to see their faces light up as they sing, move, and explore music together.

Grandparents Day at Kids@Home 💛

What a special morning filled with love, laughter, and precious memories! Our little ones were so excited to welcome their grandparents into the classroom and share a glimpse of their day.

From joining in activities to sharing stories, smiles, and special moments, it was heartwarming to see the beautiful bonds between generations. Grandparents play such an important role in our children’s lives, providing endless love, wisdom, and support.
