Grade R Adventure at Rosen Castle!

Our Grade R learners had an incredible time visiting Rosen Castle, where they stepped into a world of imaginative play and hands-on learning!

From shopping in the mini supermarket 🛍️ to becoming doctors, veterinarians, and other community helpers 👩‍⚕️👨‍⚕️, our little learners explored different roles while building confidence, communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.

Learning comes alive through play, and today was filled with curiosity, laughter, and unforgettable memories!

Mandela Day 2026 | Small Acts, Big Hearts

Today we were reminded that kindness has the power to change lives.

As part of our Mandela Day initiative, the children, families, and staff of Kids@Home Early Learning Centre came together to collect and donate bread and other essentials to members of our community who need it most.

It was a privilege to visit local organisations and see first-hand the incredible work they do every day. We also shared this special experience with our little ones by making sandwiches together, teaching them that even the smallest hands can make a big difference.

At Kids@Home, we believe that compassion, generosity, and community are lessons that begin in childhood. Today wasn’t just about giving—it was about raising children who understand the importance of caring for others.

A heartfelt thank you to every family who donated. Your generosity helped us spread warmth, hope, and kindness this Mandela Day. ❤️

Rainy days are the perfect days for creativity!

While the rain poured outside, our little artists stayed warm inside creating the cutest melting snowmen!

From googly eyes and sparkly buttons to bright orange carrot noses, every snowman was as unique as the child who made it.

Winter reminds us that learning happens everywhere—even on the coldest, rainiest days. Today was filled with creativity, fine motor fun, laughter, and lots of smiles.

Stay warm, stay dry, and enjoy this cosy winter weather! 🌧️

Our Colour House is Winter Ready! ❄️

We’ve added brand new roller blinds to our Colour House to keep the cold winter winds out while creating a warm, cosy space for our little ones to learn, play and explore.

No matter the weather outside, the fun and learning continue in comfort! 🌈
