We are so incredibly proud of our alumna, Rebone “Reeby” Sesing, for her outstanding work in the industry — most recently starring as Trinity Cele in the global hit Netflix series, The Polygamist! 🎭

Reeby is also an Executive Producer on The Real Housewives of Johannesburg, continuing to make her mark both in front of and behind the camera.

Happy National Women’s Day! 🇿🇦

Today we honour Lillian Ngoyi, Helen Joseph, Rahima Moosa, and Sophia Williams-De Bruyn who led over 20 000 women in a march to protest against Apartheid at the Union Buildings in Pretoria in 1956, leaving a legacy of courage that continues to shape our nation.

May we continue to uplift one another and make space for every voice to be heard, whilst celebrating the incredible women in our lives who inspire us daily!❤️

Advanced Certificate student Bianca Langedyk and 2025 alumna Reine Scheepers are starring in Netflix’s upcoming documentary series ‘The Charles Manson Tapes’. Bianca portrays a young Diane Lake, with Reine playing the role of Catherine Share.

The exciting news doesn’t stop there! ACT alumnus Siyamthanda Bangani has been cast as Gatsha in Season 2 of the Canal+ and MultiChoice original series ‘Spinners’. ✨

Congratulations on these incredible achievements—we can’t wait to see all three of you shine on screen!! 👏❤️

An award-winning actress, writer and director, Nicola is a two-time recipient of the Hertzog Prize for Drama, South Africa’s highest honour in Afrikaans literature. Her acclaimed work spans both stage and screen, with recent credits including the TV series ‘Die Toring’ and the award-winning play ‘Die Gebed van ‘n Halfmens’, which she wrote and directed. The production received 4 Kanna Awards from a total of 10 nominations at this year’s KKNK Festival.

Bianca has been nominated for Best Actress in a Drama Series for her role in “Appels en Tee”, and Gert has been nominated for Best Actor in a Comedy for his role in “Die Kantoor”.
