🌿🌍 Growing a Love for Our Planet

As part of our Enviro Club journey, our learners had the opportunity to visit the Botanical Garden during Earth Day — a wonderful day of learning, discovery and connecting with nature. 🌱🌳

The trip gave our learners a chance to explore the natural world beyond the classroom, learn more about the importance of protecting our environment, and see first-hand why conservation matters.

From discovering plants and ecosystems to simply appreciating the beauty around us, every experience helps nurture young environmental stewards who understand that caring for our planet starts with each one of us. 💚

🌎 Learn. Explore. Act. Protect.

🌱🌍 A Day of Purpose, Partnership & Positive Change

Prestbury Primary Enviro Club — an initiative focused on inspiring our learners to care for their environment, take meaningful action and build a more sustainable future. 🌿

Through collaboration, education and community involvement, we are creating opportunities for our learners to understand that small actions can make a big difference.

We are grateful to our partners Nature Connect SA, Sustainable Schools Organisation and OnePlanet SA for supporting this important journey.

Together, we are helping our learners become responsible environmental citizens and champions for a greener tomorrow. 💚🌍

📚✨ GET READY TO GET HOOKED ON BOOKS! ✨📚

This Friday, 21 August, our learners are in for an exciting day as Hooked on Books brings stories to life! 🎭📖

📚 Exclusive Books will also be at school, giving our learners the opportunity to purchase some of their favourite books from the show.

🏴‍☠️ Junior Show (Grades 1–4): Pirate Pete — R65
📖 Other books will be available from R50 upwards
📚 Hooked on Books titles will range from R225–R260

❤️ Every purchase helps support our school library, while encouraging our learners to develop a lifelong love of reading.

Parents/Guardians, if your child would like to purchase a book, please send the money in an envelope before Friday, clearly marked with the learner's full name, grade, amount enclosed and maximum amount they are allowed to spend.
