UNkosikazi uMlaba wayefundisa isiZulu, nezinye izifundo. Egumbini ngalinye lokufundela ayengena kulo, wayeletha ulwazi, imfudumalo, nomusa ongavamile abafundi nozakwabo abangasoze bakukhohlwa. Izifundo zakhe zazingagcini ezincwadini kuphela — wafundisa inhlonipho, ukubekezela, kanye nokubaluleka komphakathi.

UNkosikazi uMlaba wayengasiye nje uthisha kuphela; wayengumeluleki, engumama kubafundi abaningi, futhi eyinsika esikoleni sethu. Ukubekezela kwakhe, uzwelo lwakhe, nothando lwakhe lweqiniso ngabafundi lwakha izimpilo eziningi eWillowfontein nangale kwayo. Kungakhathaliseki ukuthi wayesiza umfundi esifundweni esinzima noma ekhuthaza ngomoya ophansi ngezikhathi ezinzima, wayenikela ngesikhathi sakhe nangomoya wakhe ngaphandle kokubala.
