This is the local hub for continuing professional teacher development in the Thabo Mofutsanyana Education District (TMED).

Tshiya District Teacher Development Centre (DTDC) is situated at Phuthaditjhaba (Maluti-A-Phofung Municipality) in the Thabo Mofutsanyana District. The centre is the hub of local support for continuing professional development of teachers. Tshiya DTDC's primary focus is to address teacher development needs and provide training venues and facilities. It comprises of an academic team and support team who work collaboratively for enhancement of teaching and learning in the district.
