🌟🔬 WITSIESHOEK PRIMARY MAKES ITS MARK ON THE INTERNATIONAL STAGE! 🔬🌟

During the school holidays, from 29 September to 2 October 2026, our very own Oreratile Kubheka proudly represented Witsieshoek Primary School and Eskom Expo Bethlehem Region at the Eskom Expo for Young ScientistsFair in Johannesburg, Gauteng. 🇿🇦🌍

At just 12 years old and in Grade 6, Oreratile was the youngest scientist at the fair, competing against learners from Grade 7 to Grade 12 — not only from schools across South Africa, but also from schools beyond our borders. What an incredible achievement! 👏🏽🏆

Oreratile continues to make us proud with her outstanding performance and has received multiple awards and recognitions throughout her science journey. Among these was an award recognising a rural school science club that has performed exceptionally well in its province. As part of this achievement, the winning school receives a laptop for its Science Club, while the young scientist representing the school receives a tablet computer. 💻📱🏆

This achievement is a testament to Oreratile’s hard work, determination, curiosity and passion for science. We are immensely proud of this young scientist who continues to demonstrate that great minds can come from anywhere — including our rural schools! 🌱🔬✨

👏🏽 A SPECIAL THANK YOU to Oreratile’s parents for their unwavering support and encouragement.

🙏🏽 A very special thank you to Sir Tsotetsi, his dedicated mentor, for his guidance, commitment and investment in Oreratile’s development.

🙏🏽 We also extend our sincere appreciation to Ms Lekgabe Dihlabi, the Bethlehem Eskom Science Expo Coordinator, for her support and contribution towards nurturing young scientists in our region.

🌟 Oreratile, you have made Witsieshoek Primary proud! Your achievement inspires us to continue believing in the potential of every learner. Keep exploring, keep discovering and keep shining! 🔬🌍🏆

Witsieshoek Primary School is proud of you! ❤️💙
