Founder of Kgabsy Science and Communication Network and Eskom Science Expo Bethlehem Region Coordinator Lekgabe Dihlabi is currently in China with a team of young scientists representing the country.

"Team South Africa is heading to China! Three young scientists will represent the country at the Beijing Youth Science Creation Competition (BYSCC) from 25 to 29 March 2026, showcasing innovative research in agriculture, environmental sustainability and food safety.

The participants are:
• Marlhuné Bezuidenhout (Hoërskool Secunda, Mpumalanga)
• Naftal Khoza (Ennerdale Full Service Secondary School - The Tech, Johannesburg)
• Khushi Lall (Tyger Valley College, Pretoria)

They will be supported by delegation leader Lekgabe Dihlabi (Eskom Expo Bethlehem Region), along with Tebalo Tsatsi (SAASTA) and Prof Ken Nixon (Wits - University of the Witwatersrand).

We wish them a safe journey and great success on the international stage.

Compliments of the new season to all members of our learning community—Learners, Teachers, and Parents. It has been seven years since we embarked on this journey with the vision of making learning fun, holistic, and lifelong. Indeed, God has been good to us, allowing us another year to make a remarkable difference in our lives as individuals dedicated to the mission of being lifelong learners. We remain committed to our objectives of cultivating a culture of independent learning and promoting curiosity, creativity, critical thinking, collaboration, and problem-solving through STEMI (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, and Innovation).
