On 4 June 2026, the Foundation Phase learners of Rydalvale Primary School proudly participated in the Phoenix Central Speech Contest held at Lenham Primary School.

A special congratulations to our Grade R star, Rayson Nel Govender, who achieved an impressive 2nd place and has qualified to represent Rydalvale Primary School at the finals to be held at Tongaat Primary School.

Rayson’s confidence, determination, and exceptional performance have made our school proud. We wish him every success as he prepares for the next stage of the competition.

The PVT Debating League officially kicked off on 17 April 2026, and our talented new Debate Team — Bedella Marimuthu, Isaiah Phillip, and Vihaan Ramkelawan — stepped up to the challenge with confidence and determination.

After earning runner-up status in Round 1, the team used the experience as motivation to come back stronger, sharper, and more prepared than ever before! 💪📚

On 7 May 2026, our debaters made us incredibly proud as Rydalvale Primary School was announced as the WINNING SCHOOL! 🏆👏

To top it all off, Isaiah Phillip was awarded the title of BEST SPEAKER for his outstanding performance! 🌟🎤
