This November, Brian Andrew and his son will take on The Munga MTB to raise R100,000 for the Carel du Toit Centre, helping children with hearing loss learn to listen, speak and connect with the world around them.
This cause is deeply personal to Brian, and every donation can make an even bigger impact, with RS Group matching contributions up to approximately R54,000.

Recently, our Beginner Class had a fun lesson all about eggs.
The class assistant dressed up as a feathered chicken and the learners watched as the “chicken” laid eggs which they could then buy directly from her.
A wonderful hands-on learning experience that ended with a lovely meal… and of course, one egg broke along the way. Oooops!
The creativity of the teachers at Carel du Toit is next level😆
Happy Friday, everyone! 💛

Remembering Priscilla 💛
It is with great sadness that we remember our beloved former colleague and friend, Priscilla, who passed away on 6 August.
Priscilla joined the Carel du Toit Centre in 1988 and was part of our family until 2015. Over those 27 years, she served in many roles – as a class assistant, translator, teacher and hearing screener – always bringing warmth, dedication and a deep love for the children and families she served.
Priscilla believed in giving mothers hope and loved working in her community. She was known for her generous spirit, her willingness to go the extra mile, her infectious joy and her big hugs.
She once said of her first day at Carel du Toit: “I feel happy from day one. I like my job!” And that happiness became part of the Carel du Toit story.
We will remember Priscilla with great fondness and gratitude for the many lives she touched. Her legacy of kindness, hope and generosity will always remain part of the Carel du Toit family.
Rest peacefully, Priscilla. You will be deeply missed. 💛

Our learners have such big helpful hearts!

When it's cold and teacher borrows you her jacket, why not share with a friend for extra warmth ?! 😆
Our learners shine brightly at the Eisteddfod once again!
Every single one of them performed exceptionally well while competing alongside natural hearing learners and we could not be prouder ! We look forward to sharing their beautiful recitals with you throughout the term🧡

What a perfect way to end the week! Our Grade R Cake Sale was filled with delicious sweet treats and lots of happy faces.😋
Beyond the fun, our little learners were taught valuable life skills such as handling money, making choices and developing an early understanding of entrepreneurship.💛
