This Youth Day, we celebrate the freedom to move, create and express ourselves. Every class, rehearsal and performance is a reminder that dance gives young people a voice without saying a word.

Thank you to Blairgowrie Primary for recognising the achievements of two of our dancers—one an intern and the other a learner at your school—in your latest newsletter. We’re incredibly proud of them as well! 👏⭐🏆🥰

We are incredibly proud of all our dancers who took part in The Next Level of Dance competition at Joburg Theatre in Braamfontein last week.

Whether they placed in the Top 6 or not, what matters most is that, for many, this was their first time competing at such a high level. They danced with such confidence, representing our studio with absolute professionalism and grace. At the end of the day, it’s about showing up and giving your best, and every single dancer did exactly that.

A special well done to Madison and Kgola for your performances in the Teen Novice Lyrical Solo category, and to Bakuena for giving it your all in the Teen Novice Jazz Solo category. To Isabella, Julia and Aimee for achieving top results in the Senior Amateur Contemporary Solo category. Congratulations as well to Piper, Olivia and Erin for your top results in the Teen Novice Jazz Solo category.

A huge congrats to Julia, who placed 1st in the Senior Amateur Tap Solo category and received a Golden Ticket to represent South Africa in Slovenia in July 2026.
