The Ndebele Students Association is proud to acknowledge its President, Thamsanqa Mahlangu, who was invited to serve as a panelist at the G20 Rural Investment Summit.
He participated alongside the President of the Pan-African Parliament, Chief Fortune Charumbira, the Minister of Land Reform & Rural Development, Cde Mzwanele Nyhontso, and the Minister of Electricity & Energy, Dr. Kgosientso Ramokgopa.
This reflects the growing recognition of his leadership and the voice of the Ndebele youth on global platforms.
Equally, this underscores our Organization’s growing relevance in South Africa’s public discourse. This engagement signals the NSA’s emergence as a credible voice in national development, governance, and youth-centered policy conversations.

Office of the Presidency
Ndebele Students Association (NSA)
The Office of the Presidency of the Ndebele Students Association hereby issues the following official announcement regarding a key development within the national leadership of the Organization.
Effective immediately, Attorney Ms. Zandi Mahlangu has been appointed as the Secretary General of the Ndebele Students Association.
Ms. Mahlangu is an admitted Attorney of the High Court of South Africa and the founder of her own law firm. She brings to the Organization an impeccable record of professionalism, integrity, and dedication to service. Her extensive background in law, governance, and administration provides the NSA with enhanced institutional capacity, strengthened operational systems, and improved accountability.
The Presidency calls upon all Provincial Executive Committees (PECs), Branch Executive Committees (BECs), and all other structures of the NSA to extend their full cooperation and institutional support to the Office of the Secretary General. This appointment reinforces the Organization's commitment to order, transparency, and the highest standards of administrative excellence.
This marks the beginning of a strengthened chapter for the NSA—one grounded in sound governance, elevated accountability, and a renewed dedication to our founding mission of preserving, empowering, and advancing the Ndebele nation within South Africa’s academic and cultural spaces.

On this day a month ago, the Ndebele Students Association proudly honored Bab July Wara Mahlangu, founder of the iconic Saaiplaas Boys, with the Lifetime Achievement Award at the 5th Edition of the NSA Academic Awards held at the SABC Headquarters.
This recognition celebrated his lifelong dedication to archiving and preserving indigenous Ndebele knowledge and heritage through sound. Since founding the Saaiplaas Boys in 1994, Bab Mahlangu has produced 28 albums that capture the rhythm, wisdom, and pride of the Ndebele people — ensuring our traditions continue to live through music and memory.
