Little Ian came into the studio wide-eyed and taking it all in, he didn’t want to miss a moment of his first photoshoot. He did eventually fall asleep and we got to capture a couple of beautiful posed shots of him. His big brother is the best and just adores him. Congratulations on your brand new family of 4!

Two busy boys, a mountain stream and the most beautiful backdrop you could imagine. I’ve been photographing this gorgeous family for a few years now and watching these boys grow (and get even more adventurous!) is such a joy.

Wild, free and full of life - just the way childhood should be.

Another shoot with the Austen family and little Ariella stole the show. Not once did she complain about the wind, the shells under her feet or even the icy water when she took an unexpected tumble. She simply got up, laughed, and ran straight back into the waves. Six years old and already teaching us how to embrace the moment with joy.

Almost twelve years ago, I met this beautiful mama when she was pregnant with her very first baby. All these years later, I get to stand behind my camera and photograph them again, now a family of five, with three incredible kids who have filled their world with so much joy.

Watching families grow is one of the greatest gifts of what I do. What a privilege to be part of their story. Thank you Johann & Lize for trusting me again after all these years. It means more than you know.

Some goodbyes deserve to be held onto forever.

On the shores of beautiful Bloubergstrand, we captured more than just photographs, we captured a season. A chapter closing. A family gathering a little tighter before part of their hearts journeys all the way to Australia.
