So excited to be back!!
Term 3 starts tomorrow and we've had two days for collaborative planning, sharing holiday news and getting academic planning (and playlists) ready for tomorrow💃🕺

This morning we also took some time to reflect on our knowledge of climate change: what are the facts, what is happening in our world and what can we do about it. We live on this incredibly beautiful planet, we influence the development of children every day, and what teachers as rolemodels do, matter.
In the coming weeks we'll share some educational resources and also stories of climate mitigation and adaptation that inspire us.

'n Pragtige sonskyndag, maar 'n droë winter tot dusver. Vir die Weskaap is klimaatsvoorspellings droeër en warmer as wat ons ken. Die nuus van die Noordelike Halfrond gedurende die vakansie was vol kommer oor die impak van veranderde weerstoestande: droë riviere wat skeepsvervoer bemoeilik, hittegolwe en veldbrande.
Ons as die grootmense leer ken die statistieke, maar by ons skool is ons versigtig oor hoe ons hierdie realiteit aan kinders oordra.
Kom ons leer wat om te doen, en lei kinders deur ons voorbeeld meer as ons voorstelle. 😉
