Nurul Adfaal Montessori Nursery School Nurul Adfaal Nursery School was established in May 1989, as a result of the foresight of Mrs.

Nabeweyah Hendricks with the fundamental aim of serving the educational needs to surrounding communities of Ottery, Grassy Park and Lotus River. As the name of the school implies “Light of the Children”, Nurul Adfaal Montessori Nursery has developed into an institution that thrives on academic excellence and in developing the child in a holistic manner. To this effect the school became one of the

first non-white Muslim schools on the Cape flats to introduce the Montessori Teaching Programme. This bold initiative has produced outstanding results and has provided our learners with an educational teaching method that was previously reserved for a select few.
