COMMUNIQUÉ FROM THE OFFICE OF THE PRINCIPAL

RETURN OF GRADE R CHILDREN TO SCHOOL

Dear Parents and Guardians

I hope you are healthy and safe during this COVID-19 pandemic.

As you are no doubt aware, the Council of Education Ministers has amendments to some grades returning to school. Council of Education Ministers took a decision that Grade R under department of education will be amongst grades returning to school on Monday, 06th July 2020. For Thuthukani Crèche and Pre-School, this is not applicable as Thuthukani Crèche and Pre-School is under Department
Of Social Development.

Thuthukani Crèche and Pre-School will not be opening on the 6th July 2020.

It's apparent that most early childhood education institutions under department of social development are not ready to accept children anytime soon. Therefore we reiterate that Thuthukani Crèche and Pre-School will not be opening this coming week, pending instruction from department of social development.
