Building Food Garden Enterprises is a great method to address the environmental, social, and economic problems that our communities face. How many families achieve food security, I wonder? How many people make money from selling fresh produce? The variety of veggies available for consumer use, the fact that we practice organic, and the fact that organic waste is composted to improve soil fertility are just a few of the many advantages!
This year, set a goal for yourself to have a good garden, whether it's in your backyard, a sack, or a container. If you lack the necessary skills, we can help you create one!

The question now is not who feeds us today, but rather who will feed us tomorrow, as our farmers are getting older. Choosing agriculture is a decision to contribute to the resolution of one of the biggest problems facing humanity. In order for biodiversity to protect us, we must preserve it. At Citu Culture Farms, we are all committed to sustainability and believe that every action matters. Another productive and thrilling day at Soweto High School. A lovely food garden for the school community was created from an abandoned area where trash predominated. We are pleased to see schools adopting our food garden philosophy, which will eventually be incorporated into the curriculum. We encounter difficulties and setbacks more frequently, but we overcome them.
I'm eager to share more success stories and follow-up photos from this project.

At Citu Culture Farms, we are all committed to sustainability and believe that every action matters. Another productive and thrilling day at Soweto High School. A lovely food garden for the school community was created from an abandoned area where trash predominated. How often do we take time to reflect on our prior work before entering into new employment? I occasionally told a tale in June about how the government and corporations sit on enormous tracts of property that they may not use for a very long time. The majority of businesses came to us and requested that we set up a food garden so their employees may consume fresh organic veggies and herbs every week, sell any excess to other employees from surrounding businesses, and bring some to their canteen. The development has been excellent, and as soon as the initial garden management was finished, we were asked to make the garden twice as large. Visitors from other businesses who come to take pictures and borrow a leaf now owe them money. Some have already begun preparing to establish comparable food gardens on their vacant properties!
"Don't despair, there is still hope" is how we advocate for additional land for agriculture, transform our dysfunctional food system, and promote ethical food for our communities.

We at Citu Culture Farms think that age is simply a number! Even at 56, 66, 72, and 89 years old, these priceless vintage women continue to connect with and kiss the land! Every single week, they encourage and excite us while also being receptive to learning! They are merely a source of wealth that we should all cherish. Young people, please cease bringing elderly people to homes with inadequate care. Some elderly persons may even become more sad as a result of neglect and lack of affection. They belong there because mother nature needs them. Bring them over so we can give them some gardening advice as part of our weekly

In farming, preparation is essential! Schedule the procurement of your farming supplies, such as seedlings, equipment, compost, and seeds. If you are unable to purchase seedlings, cultivate your own and sow them one month before to the scheduled transplanting date! Remember that since markets and other factors change over time, timing is crucial in farming. We are actively growing seedlings to sell to other farmers in the interim.
