SoundHouse courses are aimed at children as young as 5 years, teenagers at high school, to university students and teachers who need professional development. Learning and appreciation of music through the use of electronic keyboards, computers, software applications and other digital instruments, is the key focus of our teaching programmes. Apart from teaching music composition, recording and sound technology, an understanding of the role of music within the arts industries such as dance, drama, theatre and film is instilled. The SoundHouse is proud to have been serving the community in and around Cape Town since 1998, and we are excited to set down new roots inside the new Cape Town Science Centre, a buzzing and amazing hub of exploratory activity for young people of all ages.
