On Friday, 19 January, Cyril Ramaphosa Foundation partner entity, Adopt-a-School Foundation attended the Free State dept of education's Class of 2023 matric results celebration.
Two of its Industrial Development Corporation-adopted schools, Kgabareng Secondary School and Ngwathe Secondary School, were recognised for their outstanding pass rate achievements of 100% and 97% respectively.
Tshwarelo Mrwebi and Mohau Matsa, two learners from Kgabareng, were also recognised as among the province's top 100 performing learners.
Adopt-a-School implements a Whole School Development model that improves the governance, academic, infrastructural, social and security environment in some of the least resourced schools in the country.
