Warrant Officer Karl Sander’s story reminded many South Africans that behind every uniform, title, job, study program and responsibility is a real person who sometimes just needs a small “safe space” to get through a difficult day.

For our Futra learners, students and employees, this is also a reminder that discipline, integrity and resilience still matter.
