A choir is proof that we are stronger together.

The 21st of August 2026 Newcastle High school was once again the reason for the gathering of choirs at our annual choir festival.

Schools from in and around our beautiful town gathered in the spirit of choral music to perform and set the stage alight!!!

This year we had the honour of having the great Hamilton Motloung join us this year not only as a special guest but also to perform a live Interactive mass choir with all the choristers present.

We would like to sincerely thank the schools, conductors and accompanists who's hours of work and dedication went into the preparations of their choirs and also for their continued support of the arts.

Grade 12 Consumer Studies Practical Examination

There were delicious aromas filling the halls of our school today and the chefs responsible were none other than our grade 12 Consumer studies students.

We are all so impressed with the dishes that were put forward today and would like to thank Mrs P Naicker for all the work she has put in to get our students ready for this practical.
