⚽ A day of football, teamwork and plenty of St Dom’s spirit!

Our U/11 and U/13 boys and girls took to the field against Utrecht Primary last week, giving their very best from the first whistle to the last.

There was determination in every pass, energy in every run and plenty of encouragement between teammates. Most importantly, our players showed wonderful sportsmanship and represented St Dom’s with pride...

🏑💙 Congratulations, Luan! We are incredibly proud to congratulate Grade 10 learner, Luan Lens, on receiving an invitation to play for the U/16 Boys Rebels in the Durban Premier League Hockey.

Luan has been invited to take part in this invitational opportunity, as players are selected through the DPL draft process.

As this will be Luan’s first Durban Premier League experience, we are thrilled to see him given the opportunity to test himself at this level, gain valuable experience and enjoy the journey.

⚽🏆 St Dom’s Football stars: What a fantastic achievement for our St Dom’s boys!

On 26 July, Sizwe Khumalo and Faizan Khan helped their respective clubs claim victory at the Volksrust Tournament! 👏

Sizwe Khumalo was named Best Defender (U/10)
Faizan Khan finished as Top Scorer with an incredible 17 goals and was named Player of the Tournament!

🤩 We are incredibly proud of our young footballers and wish them the very best as they head to a major tournament in Durban this weekend. Go well, boys; we’ll be cheering you on!

🎾 St Dom’s Padel is on the rise!

It’s been an incredible few weeks for Abu Baqr Jamaloodeen and Mohamed Peer, who have been taking on some of the best competition on the Padel circuit.

From the FIP Ballito event (25–28 June) to the SA Grand in Raslouw (10–11 July), where they reached the final, and the FIP Kyalami event (17–19 July), our young players have continued to gain valuable experience at an international level.

👏 Their hard work is paying off! The duo are currently tied on 64 FIP points, ranked No. 15 in Africa for U/18, No. 118 in the FIP Promises World U/18 rankings, and an impressive No. 377 globally as a senior pair.

🤩 From St Dom’s to the international stage, the future is looking bright!
