Our First Team Cricket Girls delivered an amazing performance against Drakensberg!

After electing to bat first, Hutties posted an impressive 140/6 before securing a fantastic 19-run victory!

Player of the Match was Ceané Vermaak. Ceané bowled brilliantly, taking 4/24 in her 4 overs, including a maiden over.

Ons meisies het met ongelooflike spanwerk, vasberadenheid en veggees gespeel en elke oomblik hul alles gegee!

Our 1st Team Cricket Boys continued their incredible run in the 2026 Cricket League with a fantastic 9-wicket victory over Uelzen!

Hutties won the toss and elected to bowl first, bowling Uelzen out for just 61 runs, with Aiden van der Westhuizen taking 2 wickets for only 11 runs and earning Man of the Match!

Xander Smit took 1 wicket for just 8 runs and added 26 runs with the bat, while Hannu Scheepers claimed 2 wickets for only 4 runs!

Wat ’n uitstekende spanprestasie! Hutties het die teiken van 62 lopies in minder as 8 boulbeurte gejaag en ’n welverdiende oorwinning behaal!

Dit is met groot hartseer dat ons die afsterwe van een van ons geliefde Graad 6‑leerders, Johan Lombard, aankondig.

Johan was ’n vriendelike en saggeaarde seun wat altyd geglimlag het. Hy het ’n besondere plek in die harte van sy onderwysers en klasmaats gehad en sy afwesigheid laat ’n diep leemte in ons skoolgemeenskap. Johan sal opreg gemis word deur almal wat die voorreg gehad het om hom te ken.

Ons innige meegevoel en opregte simpatie gaan aan Johan se familie in hierdie ongelooflike moeilike tyd. Mag hulle troos vind in die kosbare herinneringe en liefde wat hulle saam met hom gedeel het.

The Huttenpark 1st Team Cricket Boys continued their impressive start to the 2026 Cricket League with another brilliant victory, this time against Dundee Junior!

Hutties batted first and put up an excellent 207/4, setting Dundee a challenging target. Our boys then delivered with the ball, restricting Dundee Junior to 149 runs.

Hutties secured the win by 58 runs!

Man of the Match was Xander Smit.
What an incredible all-round performance from Xander! He scored a fantastic 87 runs NOT OUT and followed it up with an outstanding 4 wickets!
