1. Please try to check your child books every evening to see what have they been doing during the day in school.
2. Ask them if they have problems with any of the subjects and try your best to assist them.
3. Reduce their TV watching time and replace it with book readings and study time.
4. Draft a timetable that begins immediately after school as they arrive at home.
*It can begin with the 30minutes of socks and shirt washing, after that, 1hour of homework and another hour with friends, and so on.
5. There also should be a weekend timetable that begins as early as the kids wake up, and doing house chores should be the first thing on their list.
* Book time should be of 1hour duration maybe twice or three times a day like from 12:00-13:00, 15:00-16:00 and 19:00-20:00
* This is good for any child as long as they can read and write on their own...and as a parent you can ask them to read for you, and help them with pronounciation and word meanings
