WHAT IS AN AMMENDED SENIOR CERTIFICATE (ASC) AND WHO QUALIFIES FOR IT ⁉️⁉️

The Amended Senior Certificate is mainly intended for Adults who did not complete or want to improve their matric qualification .
You need to be 21 years or older and have
✔️A Grade 9 pass; or
✔️ General Education and Training Certificate ; or
✔️An equivalent NQF Level 1 qualification

The ASC exams are written in May/June every year and as a Student you need to take at least 6 Subjects to be able to obtain the ASC with the following achievements ‼️

✔️Pass 3 subjects at 40% or more , including one Home language
✔️Pass 2 subjects at 30% or more , including another official language.
✔️Obtain at least 20% in the sixth subject .
