📢 Hlabatshane Senior Secondary School – Admission Update (2026)

We would like to inform parents and guardians that we no longer have space for Grade 12 learners. Admissions for Grade 12 are therefore closed.

However, we still have limited space available for learners in Grades 8 to 11.

We sincerely apologise for the late responses to messages sent via our inbox. The delay was due to the high volume of enquiries, ongoing admissions processes, and teaching activities at the school.

Hlabatshane Senior Secondary School would like to inform the public that for Grade 11 admissions, we accept learners who have more than two Level 1 results.
The age requirement is 23 years and below.

Learners who wish to apply for Grade 11 are encouraged to prepare themselves and come to the school for further assistance and guidance.

| Learners can view their National Senior Certificate results through the following official channels:

1. Department of Basic Education website – using your examination number and date of birth / Mobile App – Download the “DBE Results” app from Google Play or the App Store.
2. SMS – Send your examination number via SMS to 35658 (standard rates apply) / USSD – Dial *120*35658 # and follow the prompts.
3. School/Examination centres – Official printed statements can be collected from your school or examination centres.
4. On the day, learners can also buy local newspapers and check their results using their examination number.

Hlabatshane Senior Secondary School is located in Mqanduli rural, just outside Mthatha.
The taxi fare from Mthatha to Hlabatshane is R32.
