FIRST FRIDAY OF THE FINAL TERM!

What better way to kick off our final term than by celebrating a moment that reminded us what striving for academic excellence truly means!
Our journey to the National Master Spelling Bee may not have ended with a medal, but our learners walked away with something just as valuable: the knowledge that they can stand their own against schools from across the country. 💛🤎

Competing on a national stage, where many learners have greater exposure to English, our Hive showed courage, determination, and the power of preparation. They showed up, gave it their all, and made us incredibly proud!

At Springfield, “Striving for Academic Excellence” is not just a slogan we put on paper; it’s a standard we live by, a commitment we put into action, and a promise we continue to fulfil. And these learners are living proof! 🏆✨

One term left, and we’re not slowing down! We’re determined to FINISH 2026 STRONG! 💪🏽📚

Future CEOs loading... ⏳💼

With big dreams, bright ideas, and a little hustle, this term our young entrepreneurs learned that opportunities can be created, not just found. During their Entrepreneurs Day our Grade 7’s sold, negotiated, marketed, and understood the assignment!

Today, we celebrate the beautiful cultures, traditions, and diversity that make our Springfield family so special.

Heritage Day is a time to honour where we come from, embrace what makes us unique, and celebrate the values and traditions that bring us together. We are proud to be part of a community rich in culture, respect, and unity.

Happy Heritage Day from all of us at Springfield Primary School! 🇿🇦💛✨

GUESS WHO’S BACK ON YOUR TIMELINE…👀

Us. Obviously. And this time, we’re bringing MOVIE NIGHT 🍿🎬

At this point, hosting something fun is literally becoming our personality… and honestly? We’re not mad about it.

Good vibes. Good snacks. Good company. A movie that hopefully doesn’t put you to sleep💀😂🍿

R100 for a movie, popcorn, a drink AND sweets? Say less🍿🎥🫶

Grab your tickets from the school office because, let’s be real, your night plans are officially sorted😌✨

Fun was had in our Grade 4 Social Sciences class!

As part of their lesson on the different ways food can be processed, our learners got hands-on in the best way possible. From delicious milkshakes and 2-minute cakes to colourful fruit salads, they explored how simple ingredients can be transformed into tasty treats.

Learning is always more exciting when it can be seen, touched, and tasted! 🍓🥛🧁

After weeks of confidence-building, learning, and preparation under the guidance of Siphesihle Majala Sihle, our learners took to the stage for the grand finale of the Mr & Miss Springfield Primary School Pageant.

From their bright smiles to their confident walks, every participant shone in their own unique way. We are incredibly proud of all our learners for stepping out of their comfort zones and embracing the opportunity to grow in confidence.

A huge thank you to all the parents who came out in their numbers despite the weather. Your unwavering support is something your children will always remember, and it plays a vital role in their growth and success.

A heartfelt thank you to Yamila Models and their dedicated team for investing in our children and helping create such a memorable experience.

Congratulations to all our contestants, finalists, and winners. You made us proud! 👑✨

Yesterday, our learners had the opportunity to learn valuable life lessons during a special visit from representatives of Social Development and the Department of Education.

The session focused on crime prevention and substance abuse awareness, empowering our learners with knowledge to make safe, positive choices for their future. We are grateful for partnerships like these that help guide and support our children both inside and outside the classroom.
