1 Timothy [3]
Dear All,

Apostle Shaul’s letter to Timothy contains instructions [ Torah ] needed to set up godly congregations. Godliness [ devotion to grow in the knowledge of God and follow Him closely ] is good in every believer in Messiah. Our prayers in faith from an obedient life style matters much in the Kingdom of God.

Let us look in to 1 Timothy 2 : 1 - 10

1. 1 - 2

> Prayer is an act of communication of man with God

> Prayer is a common term used for petitions, prayer, intercession and thanksgiving [1].

> We pray to God to take control over the powers that rule over us.

> Godly control over the ruling powers enable us to live in peace. The God of righteousness is able to lead His people live in peace and righteousness [2].

>. Kings and people in authority exercise their power over us. We ought to pray that God would empower them to rule in peace and righteousness.

> Our King and Deliverer desires that we seek His Presence and power to watch over all unrighteousness existing in this world [ 3].

Such prayers enable us to know our faithful Creator / Deliverer more intimately.

2. 3 - 7

> God wants the entire mankind to know Him as a restorer.

> Such restorations contribute to the expansion of God’s Kingdom on earth [4].

> Yeshua our Messiah is the mediator of all mankind [ not believers only].

> Therefore, God’s people ought to pray for all mankind to come to the knowledge of a God of restoration, Messiah Yeshua [ 4 - 5].

Messiah died for the deliverance of mankind. He won the battle with the spirit of death and rose up on the third day to join His Father at the appointed time.

Conclusion :-

Apostle Shaul became a trust worthy teacher of God’s word by believing in Messiah and obeying Him.

Let us also take up prayer / intercession for souls bound in darkness.

Intercession is praying for people who do not know Messiah and His word so that they could come to Him and pray for their needs too.

Men and women ought to come in to God’s Presence with great reverence [2 : 8 - 10]. Pride and love for the world can make God’s people lack humility / submission and holiness. The above sins make our prayers unworthy.

Let us be mindful about such truth.

Petts Independent Christian Academy needs your support to improve our learning and to implement more programmes for our learners. Without you enrolling your children with us, you will be denying your child the right to excel in computers at a tender age. We want introduce computers to them next year from age 3 up. This will help them during these trying times where children are compelled to do distant learning. The children's will be growing technically and holistically. They will be learning to solve problems to make their learning easier. Our open day will be in September on a date that will be announced. Secondly, we are growing. Petts Independent Christian Academy is open for 2022 registration. Parents can apply from now on. You can visit the school, during school hours from Monday to Friday or call us on 062 478 2174 and you can email [email protected]
Our friendly staff will gladly assist you.
The good news is that our first grade R graduation ceremony is scheduled for the end of the year on a date that will be announced. These learners will be our grade 1 class next year. Our aim is take our learners from the preschool up to primary school but we are not going to rush this process. Your applications for 2022 will determine our growth of fhr school. Please enrol your children now. We will be taking children from 2 to 8 years of age. All queries and questions can be directed to us via the above information given.

Hello Friends, I would like to thank all parents who didn't only like our school but so it fit to enrol their children with us. Your support means a lot to us. I know that many of you are still undecided. The school is up and running, please enrol your child. WIith us at PICA, learning is play and fun. We opened on the second of March, but already, our little learners are able to do presentations. We thank God for the PICA team. May they continue to do the good work to brighten the future of the children of South Africa. This is not about us but it's about the children.
