The Grade 6 class enjoyed a creative outing to Clay Café in George! 🎨

Each child chose a ceramic piece to paint, had a delicious meal and a milkshake, and made wonderful memories along the way.

It was a fun day filled with creativity and laughter!

🐠🚌 Grade 7 Cape Town Tour – Day 5! 🚌🐠

Our final day began with a visit to the incredible Two Oceans Aquarium, where we explored the fascinating marine life of South Africa’s oceans and enjoyed one last adventure together. 🌊🐟

With hearts full of memories and cameras full of photos, it was then time to begin our journey home. ❤️

This tour has been filled with learning, laughter, friendship, new experiences and countless special moments. We are grateful for the opportunity to explore, grow and make memories together that will last a lifetime.

A big thank you to everyone who helped make this tour such a success. Grade 7, you were amazing! 🙌✨

🌳🚌 Grade 7 Cape Town Tour – Day 4! 🚌🌳

Day 4 was another day filled with adventure, history and unforgettable experiences! We started the morning soaring through the trees at Acrobranch, challenging ourselves and cheering each other on! 🌿💪

We then took a meaningful journey through South Africa’s past at the District Six Museum, followed by a scenic Red Bus tour around the beautiful Mother City. 🏛️❤️

After a delicious dinner at Kalky’s, we finished the evening with a sweet treat at Spur! 🍦🍔

Another day of learning, laughter, friendship and memories we’ll carry with us for years to come. ❤️✨

Day 4 done… what a tour it has been! 🚌🌟

📚🌍 Grade 7 Cape Town Tour – Day 3! 🌍📚

Day 3 was a wonderful mix of history, discovery and adventure! We stepped back in time at the Slave Lodge, explored the wonders of space at the Planetarium, and discovered more about South Africa’s fascinating history and natural world at the South African Museum. 🏛️🔭

We also visited the Heart of Cape Town Museum, before enjoying a delicious Wacky Wednesday dinner at Steers with the beautiful Rhodes Memorial as our backdrop. 🍔🌄

And then it was time to let loose at Total Ninja! 🤸‍♀️💪 The perfect way to end another busy day filled with learning, laughter and unforgettable memories. ❤️

Three days down, and the adventure continues! 🚌✨

⛰️🎢 Grade 7 Cape Town Tour – Day 2! 🎢⛰️

Day 2 was packed with adventure, breathtaking views and plenty of laughter! We started the day with an exciting round of tobogganing before heading up Table Mountain to take in the incredible views of Cape Town. 🌄❤️

After a delicious dinner at Panarottis, we ended the day with some friendly competition and lots of laughs at ten-pin bowling! 🎳🍕

Another unforgettable day filled with new experiences, friendship and memories we’ll treasure for years to come. 💙✨

What a day! And there’s still more to come! 🚌🙌

Highlights of the Grade 7 tour - 2026

Day 1: Robben Island and Freedom Adventure Park.

🚌✨ Grade 7 Cape Town Tour – Day 1! ✨
What an incredible start to our Grade 7 adventure! After travelling to Cape Town, we explored the history and significance of Robben Island, followed by plenty of excitement and adventure at Freedom Adventure Park! 🏝️🤸‍♀️
We ended the day with a delicious dinner at Spur, sharing laughs, stories and lots of happy moments together. 🍔❤️
A day filled with learning, adventure, friendship and memories that will last a lifetime! 🙏✨
And this was only the beginning! 🚌💙

💚 Proudly South African! 💚

Our Pre-Primary children celebrated their Proudly South African theme by dressing in Springbok colours on Friday, 18 September. They joined in with such joy and enthusiasm, proudly showing off their outfits and embracing the celebration. 💚 They enjoyed some delicious "melktert" and made the most of the lovely, warm South African weather. ☀️🥧

Aren’t we privileged to live in such an amazing town? We are truly grateful for the beautiful place we get to call home! ❤️💙💚

🌱🐾 Take a Peek into Our Grade 1 Classroom! ✨📚

Our Grade 1 children have been exploring the wonderful process of planting seeds and watching them grow over time, just like they have grown and developed throughout the year. 🌱🌿 What a special way to experience the miracle of growth first-hand!

They also put their fine motor skills to work as they created the sweetest little cat crafts. 🐱🎨✂️

Grade 1 is about so much more than learning the ABCs and counting. It is a whole-body approach to building a strong and solid foundation for the many years of learning ahead. Through hands-on experiences, our children develop their perceptual skills, coordination, creativity, problem-solving abilities and confidence.

Most importantly, they are learning to live out the values that are at the heart of King's College: Respect, Integrity, Mindfulness and Gratefulness. 💙

We are so proud of our little explorers and the wonderful way they are learning, growing and discovering the world around them! 🌱✨
