8-year-old Joël Marthinus, one of our Grade 2 boys, represented the Eden Development Team U/9 Boys at the Western Cape School Brian Raubenheimer Development Tournament this weekend.

Joël achieved an impressive 8th place out of 21 participants. Well done, Joël! Your hard work and dedication are inspiring! 👏🌟

🏑 HOCKEY | U13 GIRLS & BOYS🏑

This Wednesday, our Milkwood Primary U13 Girls and Boys hockey sides took on the touring sides from Hugo Rust Primary. 🔥🏑

It was a fantastic opportunity for our players to challenge themselves, and gain valuable match experience. We are proud of the effort and sportsmanship shown by our girls and boys on the field!

Milkwood would like to extend our warmest congratulations to Zach Manie and Rylan Botha on their well-deserved selection for the SWD Rugby Under-12 teams. We also proudly congratulate Mr Ayford and Mr du Toit on their selection as coaches for these teams. This is a wonderful achievement and a moment of great pride for our school. We wish these gentlemen every success as they represent our school and the SWD region.

Hartenbos Choir Festival 🎶

We are incredibly proud of our Junior Choir, Senior Choir and Senior Orchestra who had the privilege of taking part in the Hartenbos Choir Festival this week. 🎶✨
Our Junior Choir performed on Wednesday, 12 August, and our Senior Choir performed on Thursday, 13 August. Both choirs represented our school with pride and performed beautifully, showing wonderful discipline, confidence and enthusiasm.

Our Senior Orchestra, featuring our talented marimba players, also attended the festival on both evenings. They performed between the different choirs, providing music while the choirs made their way on and off the stage. 🎵🪘

A huge congratulations to all our learners! We are so proud of the way you represented our school and shared your musical talents with the community.
