It is with profound sadness that the Garden Route Primary family mourns the passing of our beloved former Principal, Mr. N. Gertse.

Mr. Gertse was more than a principal—he was a mentor, a leader, a servant of education, and a source of inspiration to all who had the privilege of knowing him. His unwavering dedication to his learners, staff, and community left an unforgettable mark on our school.

He led with wisdom, humility, compassion, and integrity, always placing the well-being and success of every child at the heart of his work. His legacy will continue to live on in the countless lives he touched, the values he instilled, and the excellence he inspired.

We are deeply grateful for his years of faithful service and for the lasting foundation he helped build at Garden Route Primary.
