🏖️☀️ World Play in the Sand Day! ☀️🏖️

Our preschoolers celebrated World Play in the Sand Day with plenty of creativity, exploration and sandy little hands! 💙

From building impressive sandcastles and creating interesting patterns, to turning sand into beautiful works of art, our little learners had so much fun discovering just how many ways there are to play and create with sand.

Along the way, they were developing their fine motor skills, imagination, sensory awareness and problem-solving skills – without even realising how much they were learning! ✨

A wonderfully messy day filled with creativity, discovery and lots of happy little faces! 🏖️💙

✨There is something truly magical about a handful of sand. Tiny fingers scoop, sift and explore as soft grains slip through their hands like a gentle waterfall.
As the sand trickles through, children discover new textures, build sensory awareness and experience the simple joy of being present in the moment.

Sometimes, the greatest learning happens in the smallest moments – one grain of sand at a time.

🏡🔷 Little Architects at Work! 🔷🏡

Creativity and problem-solving were on full display last week as our preschoolers embraced their Little Architects theme through a variety of exciting hands-on activities. 💙

From building houses with popsicle sticks and designing colourful homes using different shapes, to creating patterns on pegboards and strengthening fine motor skills by threading buttons, every activity encouraged little hands and growing minds to work together.

Our learners also explored balance and coordination through fun movement challenges, while our older preschoolers stepped into the shoes of real architects by designing their own house plans, examining an authentic blueprint and bringing their creative ideas to life with LEGO.

It was wonderful to see imagination, teamwork and perseverance shine as our little architects built, created and discovered together. 🏠✨
