There are 18 beds at the race venue, and when they are gone they are gone.
The thatch house sleeps 10 across five rooms, two of them ensuite and the other three sharing a bathroom. It goes as a whole house, R9 000 for the weekend. Get nine mates together and it lands under most places in the Midlands on a race weekend, with the advantage that you are already at the start.
The cottages are R550 per person per night. The two twin cottages have their own bathrooms. The four sleeper has a main bedroom, a bunk room, one bathroom and a full kitchen.
None of this cuts you off from the weekend. The race village is a short walk from your door, and the camp facilities are open to you as well. The food, the beers, the prizegiving, the whole thing is right there. You just get to walk away from it when you have had enough.
All of it is on the farm. No 05:00 drive, no packing a wet tent on Sunday, no hunting for parking. You walk to the start and you walk back to your own room.
Meals in the race village are included if you are an entered rider or on a supporter package.
