A system that was designed to label a child as “ahead” or “behind” is not a system that was designed with the best interest and knowledge of children in mind.

Our children are all unique individuals with curious, imaginative, creative minds. Each one fully capable of learning exactly what they need when they need it.

Any parent with multiple children will tell you that no two children are the same. So how could we ever expect to create an effective system that treats every child as if they were exactly that?

It’s impossible.

When we take away the individuality of our children, we essentially take away their humanity. Along with it, we take their drive and passion for learning that they are born with, which is the biggest travesty of all.

Parents, no matter what anyone says, do not ever believe the lie that your child should be somewhere or someone other than exactly who they are right in this moment.

Do not waste thoughts about where your child “should” be - and focus instead on the unique beauty of where they ARE.

If you’re feeling that pressure right now, pause all other thoughts and just watch your child for a day or two. Pay attention to their unique talents, the special ways they communicate with you and others, the amazing things they are so very capable of doing already.

I promise you will feel comfort and relief in seeing the truly incredible human that stands in front of you. 💚

Absolutely instead of equipping our children with basic education children should be tough skills that they will use to feed themselves, in as much active parental involvement plays a significant role in the upbringing of each child.

Wow, what an impressive display of linguistic mastery! I attended a spelling bee and I'm still buzzing from the excitement. The young contestants' skills were truly remarkable - their ability to spell complex words with confidence and precision was awe-inspiring. The supportive atmosphere from parents and sportsmanship among the participants made it a joy to witness. I left with a newfound appreciation for the art of spelling and a reminder of the power of dedication and hard work. Kudos to all the participants and organizers of Thandeka Knowledge Hub for their hard work. - Hats off to an amazing event.

Proverbs 13:24
"Whoever spares the rod hates their children but the one who loves their children is careful to discipline them".

This book is an absolute MUST have! It brought to me better principles (in raising my 2 year-old son) in this ever-changing world.

Children learn through peers, parents, teachers and the effects are long-lasting in their lives.

As a consequence, parents should exercise precaution against the ways of the media, environment and school.

"Parents are to up their game and never let their guard down when raising their children because wherever parents leave a gap the media, environment and schools unleash a devastating punch to fill the gap". -Hosea P Ramphekwa

A fine balance of the rod and prayer work. Remember the saying " spare the rod you spoil the child"
(The rod in this context is useful in correcting, protecting and guiding).

This is a call to all parents to turn to the consultation of the manual (Judges 13:8).

Let us join the rod and prayer ministry and help shape this nation together with the whole world.
