Market Day + Talent Show = A Fantastic Day!

Our Grade 11 students showcased incredible entrepreneurship, creativity, and teamwork during their Market Day and High School Talent Show. From planning and setting up their stalls to preparing and selling their own food, the students took ownership of every aspect of the event.

The day was filled with great food, treats, amazing talent, and plenty of school spirit. Well done to all our Grade 11s for demonstrating such initiative, determination, and entrepreneurial excellence! ✨

Grade 8 Camp Adventures!

What an incredible few days our Grade 8 students had at camp!

From the moment they arrived, it was non-stop fun, adventure and teamwork! They took on exciting challenges including adventure races, water purifying, slingshot making and target shooting, water slides, cracking the case, obstacle courses and more

There was plenty of time for swimming, tuckshop, slides and delicious meals, as well as a morning hike to get everyone moving!

The evenings were just as memorable, with campfire songs, s’mores and plenty of laughter around the fire.

It was a fantastic opportunity for our Grade 8s to build friendships, work together, step outside their comfort zones and create memories that they will cherish for years to come.

Well done, Grade 8! What an adventure!

HOLIDAY CARE IS COMING!

The school holidays are getting closer, and Club Engage Holiday Care will be here to keep the children busy, active and having fun!

With a full programme of play, creative activities, experiments, games and plenty of opportunities to move, make and explore, there is lots to look forward to this holiday.

Holiday Care runs from 25 September to 12 October, right here at Pinnacle College Founders Hill.

GRADE 12 PRELIMINARY CAT EXAM

It’s Prelim time for our Matric Class of 2026!

Our Grade 12 students took on their Preliminary CAT (Computer Applications Technology) Exam, putting their knowledge, practical skills and preparation to the test.

Every exam is another step closer to the finish line! We are incredibly proud of the hard work and determination our Matrics continue to show.

Books, laughter, and imagination filled our halls today as Hooked on Books visited our primary school! 📚

The energetic and interactive performance had our students fully engaged, with many jumping at the chance to participate in the show. Through storytelling, drama, music, and humour, students discovered just how exciting reading can be.

A huge thank you to Hooked on Books for inspiring a lifelong love of books and reminding us that every great adventure starts with turning a page.

SCIENCE IN ACTION | GRADE 12 LIFE SCIENCES

Our Grade 12 Life Sciences students put their scientific skills to the test this week with an exciting hands-on practical investigation!

Students tested the effect of a new type of antivenom on different types of snake venom, investigating whether it could be effective against the venom of more than one type of snake.

From observation and investigation to analysing results and drawing conclusions, this practical brought classroom learning to life and gave our students the opportunity to think, question and work like scientists!

Another great example of learning beyond the textbook at Pinnacle College Founders Hill.

Our Grade 10 students are off to Sediba Kwele Adventure Camp for an exciting experience filled with adventure, teamwork, challenges and plenty of unforgettable memories!

From obstacle courses and outdoor adventures to team-building activities, this is a wonderful opportunity for our students to step outside their comfort zones, strengthen friendships and grow together.
