💜✨ THE HERd Girls Camp 2026 ✨💜

What a weekend! 🌸

From 12–14 June, our amazing HERd girls packed their bags and headed off to an unforgettable camp at Wellington School of Skills.

The weekend was filled with laughter, adventure, learning, teamwork, and plenty of special moments. From exciting activities and team-building challenges to meaningful discussions and new friendships, every moment was an opportunity to grow, connect, and have fun! 🌟

At THE HERd, our mission is to raise young women who are:

This camp was more than just a weekend away—it was a chance for our girls to discover their strengths, step out of their comfort zones, build lasting friendships, and realize that they are capable of amazing things.

Awareness was the powerful message that resonated throughout today's showcase.🎉

Our vibrant young stars took to the stage to display their incredible talents while shedding light on the challenges many face in accessing an education under difficult circumstances. Through their performances, they inspired us all with messages of perseverance, resilience, and the importance of pushing through adversity.

The show was truly amazing, and our learners made us incredibly proud. While we are grateful to those who attended and supported our children, we had hoped for greater support from our wider community. Our learners work hard and deserve to perform before a full and encouraging audience.

Thank you to everyone who contributed to making the day a success. Together, we can continue to uplift and empower our children, because today's learners are tomorrow's leaders.

On Saturday 06.06.2026, our teachers joined other Mitchell’s Plain schools for an inspiring Language skills workshop with Natalie Southgate and Jenna Phillips at West End Primary. 👩‍🎓

We practiced and sharpened core skills in phonics, fluency, and reading for meaning. 📖
The energy was high and the message clear: together we can change the narrative for Mitchell’s Plain.
