A rainy day, does not stop our Toddler Class from having fun !

The Toddler Environment's parents generously donated nappies, wet wipes and bum cream, for the little ones at The Saartjie Baartman Foundation.

To commemorate the life and work of Nelson Mandela, we chose to collect toiletries and nappies for abused women and children at the Saartjie Baartman Foundation.
We would like to thank all our parents for their generous donations towards our project and as seen below, the children spent their 67 minutes sorting donations and packing bags , experiencing the joy of giving.

We have been absent for a while, as the school we signed up with the D6 communicator as a means of reaching our parents, however this does not reach the people out there, who may be interested in hearing about the happenings at our school. Hence here we are .......

On Monday 13 November 2017 we celebrated Katie's 4th birthday. We wish Katie a very Happy Birthday and congratulations to her parents Rene and Mario

A very Happy Birthday to Jusufu, who turned 3 years old on 9 November 2017.
Congratulations to his parents Mariam and Hassani.
Thank you for your kindness, not only supplying cupcakes for the children,a birthday cake for Jusufu but also cake for the staff as well.

Wishing Kiran a very Happy 3 rd Birthday, which we celebrated on 27 October 2017.Our congratulations to his parents Nadisha and Kirshan. The children thoroughly enjoyed his beautiful rainbow cake.

On 3rd November we celebrated Vera's third birthday. A very Happy Birthday to Vera and congratulations to her parents, Michelle and Jaco

Recently Simone attended a Drum Facilitator Training Course. (Drum 360)
Drum 360 was an introduction to the use of drums and rhythmic – based activities in a learning and therapeutic environment.
It was a fun and easy way to learn the skills and techniques required to lead drum circles and rhythmic-based activities for small and large groups.

Simone will be offering, as an extra mural class, drumming sessions…………….more news to follow.
