⚽️ TEACHERS vs LEARNERS! 🏆

Ending the term on a high with a little teachers vs learners showdown! 👀🔥

Our Spirit & Sport Portfolio brought everyone together for an afternoon of football, fun and plenty of competitive spirit. From the first whistle to the final goal, the match had no shortage of action, laughter and determination! 💪⚽️

In the end, it was the learners who claimed bragging rights with a hard-fought victory! 👏🏆

Well played to both teams, and a big thank you to everyone who got involved and helped make the match such a fantastic way to close off the term. 💙💛

And just like that… one final walk out of assembly. 🥹💙💛

After 30 years as part of the Millies family, our wonderful secretary, Mrs Nata Lundin, walked out of the hall for the last time - surrounded by the cheers, applause and love of the learners she has supported and cared for throughout the years.

There really is no better way to say thank you than to have our entire school community celebrate you. ❤️

Mrs Lundin, your Millies legacy will live on long after you leave these school gates. You have been, and always will be, a treasured part of our family. 🥹💙💛

Thank you for 30 incredible years. We love you, Nata! Have a blessed and happy retirement. You deserve it! ❤️

A HUGE ACHIEVEMENT FOR MHS NETBALL! 🔥🏐

Our U15 and U18 Netball teams are heading to the Fast 5s Top Schools Tournament in Boksburg!

This opportunity was earned through outstanding performances at the Western Cape Fast 5s Championships, where our teams outplayed the competition and finished 1st and 2nd in the WC! 🏆🥈

As the top-performing teams in the Western Cape, they will now compete against the best school netball teams from across the country. 🇿🇦

This is an incredible achievement for our players and coaches and a testament to their hard work, dedication and determination. 💙

We are so proud to see our teams represent Milnerton High School on the national stage. Bring it on, MHS! 🏐💙🔥

30 years. Countless memories. One very special Millie. 💙💛

Since joining Milnerton High School on 1 January 1996, Mrs Nata Lundin has been an incredible part of the Millies family. Over the past three decades, she has experienced moments of happiness and sadness, celebrated countless milestones and given so much of herself to our school.

Her connection to MHS runs even deeper: both her husband and daughter are past Millies, her husband served on the SGB and Nata was also part of the PTA.
And a fun fact that truly says it all: in 30 years at MHS, Nata has only been absent for 10 days! 👏

Her dedication, loyalty, warmth and love for Milnerton High School have made her an irreplaceable part of our story. While so much has changed over the years, one thing has remained constant - Nata’s love for MHS. ❤️

Nata, you have been a massive part of our Millies family for decades, and you always will be! Thank you for 30 wonderful years. 🥹💙💛

Today we celebrate the rich diversity, cultures and traditions that make South Africa so unique. ✨

HAPPY HERITAGE DAY!

Before the school holidays, Milnerton High School learners had the opportunity to celebrate Heritage Day together by proudly wearing traditional attire and clothing that reflects their heritage and identity.

Hosted by our RCL, the celebration included Heritage Day trivia, a lively dance-off and plenty of school spirit as learners came together to share and celebrate what makes each of us unique.

Thank you to everyone who participated and helped make the day such a memorable celebration of unity in diversity. ❤️💙💛

What an incredible achievement and a proud moment for Caleb, his family, and the entire Millies community. Your dedication, talent, and hard work have earned you this amazing opportunity to take your place on the world stage.

LEADERSHIP CAMP 2026 🌟

A new leadership journey has officially begun! 💙

Our newly selected Leadership Body recently came together for an exciting and meaningful leadership camp, filled with teamwork, challenges, learning and plenty of laughter. 🤝✨

Throughout the camp, our leaders took part in a variety of activities designed to challenge them, strengthen their communication and encourage them to work together across different portfolios. Each activity provided an opportunity for our learners to discover more about themselves, understand one another and develop the skills needed to lead with confidence and purpose. 💡

From problem-solving challenges and team-building activities to moments of reflection and plenty of fun, our leaders were encouraged to step outside their comfort zones and embrace the responsibilities that come with being a leader. 💪🏼

The camp was also a wonderful opportunity for the Leadership Body to build connections, create memories and form a strong foundation for the year ahead. 💙

We are incredibly excited to see what this group of leaders will accomplish and the positive impact they will have on our school community. Here’s to a year of leadership, growth, service and making a difference! 👏🏼🌟
