Today we celebrate the rich diversity that makes South Africa so special!

On Tuesday, our learners proudly celebrated Heritage Day by dressing in their traditional and heritage clothing, showcasing the many cultures represented in our school community.

The day was filled with colour, smiles, and a wonderful sense of pride as learners shared and celebrated their heritage. To make the day even more enjoyable, everyone was treated to delicious boerewors rolls and cake.

A special thank you to WNS for generously sponsoring the boerewors rolls and cake for our learners and helping to make our celebration even more memorable.

Together, we celebrate our cultures, our traditions, and our unity as South Africans. ❤️💙💚💛

While our learners are hard at work preparing for their assessments, our dedicated teachers took the opportunity to attend a Coding & Robotics Unplugged Workshop.

The workshop provided valuable ideas and practical activities to help bring Coding and Robotics to life in the classroom, even without the use of technology. Continuous professional development ensures that our teachers remain equipped with innovative teaching strategies to inspire and engage our learners.

♻️🌟 Grade 3 Recycling Challenge! 🌟♻️

Our creative Grade 3 learners put their imaginations to work by building amazing models using recycled materials. From boxes and bottles to cardboard and other reusable items, learners transformed everyday waste into unique and innovative creations.

This fun project encouraged creativity, problem-solving, and environmental awareness while showing that recycling can be both educational and exciting!

🐞🦋🐜 Grade 3 English Orals 🐜🦋🐞

Our Grade 3 learners confidently presented their English oral speeches on their favourite insects. From busy bees and beautiful butterflies to fascinating ladybirds and ants, learners shared interesting facts and demonstrated excellent speaking skills.

We are proud of the confidence, creativity, and enthusiasm shown by our young presenters. Well done, Grade 3s! 🌟👏

🐑📚 Grade 3 Afrikaans Mondelinge 📚🐑

Our Grade 3 learners did a fantastic job with their Afrikaans oral presentations about sheep! They confidently recited a poem and created informative posters showcasing three interesting facts about sheep or wool.

This activity helped learners develop their speaking skills, creativity, and knowledge while having fun learning about these fascinating farm animals.

Our learners proudly showed their support for Bafana Bafana as they cheer on our national soccer team in the World Cup! Dressed in South African colours and filled with national pride, they came together to celebrate the beautiful game and support our boys on the world stage.

💙✨ Care Week Celebration! ✨💙

From funky hairstyles and bringing teddy bears to school, to sharing sweet treats and heartfelt notes with friends, our learners embraced the true spirit of Care Week.

While the fun activities brought lots of smiles and laughter, the most important lesson was learning to show kindness, compassion, and appreciation for others. Small acts of caring can make a big difference!
