We're excited to launch the PIECES FOR PEACE ART COMPETITION, in partnership with the International Peace Youth Group!

This is your chance to turn recycled materials into a powerful work of art that inspires hope, kindness, unity, and a more peaceful world.🌍

"What does Peace mean to you?"

🏆 Age Categories
🎨 Junior: 10–14 years
🎨 Senior: 15–18 years

🖌️ Your artwork can be:
• A Poster
• A Sculpture

♻️ Important: Your artwork must be made entirely from recycled materials!

The Top 3 entries in each age category will be selected and showcased online, where the public will vote for their favourite!

A TOTAL SOLAR ECLIPSE IS HAPPENING THIS WEEK!

On 12 August, the Moon will pass directly between the Sun and Earth, creating a total solar eclipse (the first one since 1999 in mainland Europe) in parts of Greenland, Iceland, Spain, Portugal and northern Russia. 🌎

But even if you can’t see it from where you live, it’s a perfect excuse to explore the science behind this amazing event!
