Parents, please take note that GRADE R ADMISSIONS ONLY are still open at Noordwyk Primary School. Applications for all other grades closed on 5 September 2026.

If your little one is ready to take their first exciting steps into “big school”, we encourage you to apply! 🌈📚✨

📄 Application forms: Download the Grade R application form from the school’s website, print it out and complete it. Completed applications must be hand delivered at the school.

REMINDER: PREFECTS FOOD DONATION INITIATIVE

Dear Parents/Guardians,

Tomorrow, Wednesday, 2 September 2026, is the final day of our Prefects’ Food Donation Initiative in support of our school kitchen feeding scheme.

We would like to sincerely thank all the parents who have already contributed. Every single item donated makes a meaningful difference and goes a long way towards ensuring that a needy child does not have to go through the school day on an empty stomach.

Parents are kindly encouraged to continue donating, where possible, until tomorrow. Whether it is one item or several, your contribution matters and helps us provide meals to learners who rely on the school for support.

We are deeply grateful for the kindness, generosity and unity shown by our school community. Together, we can continue to make a difference in the lives of our learners.

CYCLE TESTS COMMENCE TODAY

Dear Parents/Guardians,

A gentle reminder that our Cycle Tests commence today, 1 September 2026. We kindly ask for your support in ensuring that learners arrive at school prepared each day, with all the necessary writing and learning materials required for their tests.

Parents are also encouraged to ensure that learners are present at school for the full duration of the school day. Please avoid arranging early pick-ups during this period, as educators are actively engaged in teaching, revision and curriculum activities.

Please note that school will dismiss at 13:00 daily for all grades during the Cycle Test period. Parents/Guardians are kindly requested to make the necessary transport arrangements to ensure learners are collected on time.

Let us work together to support our learners in doing their very best. We wish all our learners confidence, focus and success in their Cycle Tests!

REMINDER: TERM 3 CYCLE TESTS

Dear Parents/Guardians,

This is a kind reminder that our Term 3 Cycle Tests will commence on Tuesday, 1 September 2026, and continue until Thursday, 10 September 2026.

Parents/Guardians are encouraged to regularly check D6 Connect for the examination scopes and schedules, and to assist learners in preparing adequately for their assessments.

During the cycle test period, learners will dismiss at 13:00 daily. Parents/Guardians are kindly requested to make the necessary transport and collection arrangements to ensure that learners are collected on time.

We further appeal to parents to ensure that learners are present at school every day during this period and to avoid unnecessary absences. Learners should also not be collected before 13:00, as educators will continue with curriculum delivery, classroom activities and assessments after the tests have been completed.

Your support and involvement during this important academic period are greatly appreciated.

We wish all our learners the very best with their Cycle Tests. Prepare well, stay focused, and give it your best! We believe in you!

A HUGE THANK YOU TO OUR WONDERFUL PARENTS!

What a fantastic Market Day we had yesterday! Our heartfelt thank you goes out to all our parents for showing up and supporting our Grade 7 learners. Your generosity and encouragement played such a big part in making the day such a wonderful success. It truly would not have been possible without you!

Our Grade 7 learners went all out, and our learners from Grade R to Grade 6 certainly did not disappoint when it came to showing their support! The excitement, laughter, delicious treats and entrepreneurial spirit made it such a fun-filled day for everyone.

We are incredibly proud of our Grade 7s for their effort, enthusiasm and creativity, and we are so grateful to every parent who contributed towards making their Market Day experience memorable.

And finally… to all our parents who supported a little too enthusiastically yesterday: we wish you strength, luck and plenty of patience with those headaches and sore tummies this weekend! 🤣✨

Thank you once again, dear parents, for always supporting our learners and our school. We appreciate you more than words can say!

MARKET DAY REMINDER – TOMORROW!

Dear Parents and Guardians,

The excitement is almost here! Our Grade 7 learners will be hosting their Market Day tomorrow, Thursday, 27 August 2026, and we are looking forward to a fun-filled day of food, snacks, refreshments and young entrepreneurs in action!

We kindly encourage our parents from Grade R to Grade 6 to support our Grade 7 learners by providing them with pocket money to spend at the Market Day. Your support means so much to our learners and allows them to put their entrepreneurial skills into practice.

Please take note:

* Market Day is taking place during a normal school day.
* Learners must wear their full school uniform.
* Learners must bring all their books and learning materials as usual.
* School will dismiss at the normal time.

Let’s support our young entrepreneurs and make this a memorable and successful Market Day!

MARKET DAY – MINION MONEY NOTICE

Dear Parents and Guardians,

As we prepare for our exciting Market Day on Thursday, 27 August 2026, learners may start exchanging the money they would like to spend from Monday, 24 August 2026.

Parents are kindly requested to provide learners with their Market Day pocket money, which must be handed to the class teacher. The money will be recorded, and learners will receive an equivalent amount of “Minion Money” on Thursday morning to use when purchasing the various food items, snacks and refreshments that will be sold on the day.

This initiative is intended to help prevent learners from losing their pocket money during the day and to ensure that their money is kept safely until Market Day.

Parents may therefore start sending pocket money with learners from Monday, 24 August 2026.

Please note: There will be no refunds for any Minion Money that is not spent by the learner on Market Day.

We look forward to a fun and successful Market Day and appreciate your continued support of our young entrepreneurs!
