- Meet Ashley Zwelihle Seckel, a distinguished Director of the firm and a proud Blue Hills College alumnus. 🎓

Ashley holds an LLB and an LLM in International Commercial Law from the University of Johannesburg. He is an appointed Commissioner of the Small Claims Court. He was the recipient of the 2016 Probono.Org Law Student award and was recognised as a Top 200 Young South African for Legal Services by the Mail & Guardian (2024).

Presently, Ashley leads a dynamic department that deals with matters across a wide spectrum of legal disciplines. This includes opposed banking law, corporate transactions (including multi-billion rand BBB-EE transactions), general commercial law, property law, and alternative dispute resolution matters (including arbitrations).

Clients value Ashley’s thorough and meticulous approach to legal matters, as well as his unwavering commitment to excellence.

He regularly makes notable appearances on various media platforms, generously sharing his legal insights on a range of topics. His efforts have heightened awareness of crucial legal issues and have extended vital support to individuals who might otherwise be deprived of access to legal services.

In addition to his legal endeavours, Ashley is involved, and enjoys participating, in various socio-economic development initiatives.

He is not only a successful professional in the corporate world but also a dedicated preacher who uses his talents and gifts to serve God. 🙏✨

Yesterday, our Blue Hills College Grade 10 learners enjoyed an exciting educational trip to the Museum of Illusions. It was a fun-filled day of discovery, learning, and unforgettable experiences that challenged their minds and sparked their curiosity.
