PARENTS MEETING LANTO MONTESSORI PRIMARY SCHOOL

Saturday, the 14th of March, Lanto Montessori Primary School organized a successful Parents Meeting. Mr. Louis Difo, the CEO of Lanto Montessori International, gave an overview of all the Lanto projects, including the next year opening of a High School. The teachers showed impressive videos of their children working in the Montessori classrooms. Mr. Paul Maduma, accountant, explained financial matters and the importance of putting the right references with payments. Mrs. Anna Difo, co-founder of Lanto Montessori International Schools, presented beautiful school books and how the parents can purchase them. The parents could ask questions and at the end visit the classrooms and see the work books of their children. They all were impressed with the high quality of our Montessori Primary School and our beautiful, newly build, big classrooms. It is clear that Lanto Montessori International Schools is growing from strength to strength, improving the educational quality for the children in South Africa.

MARCH BIRTHDAY CELEBRATIONS

Happy birthday to all of our children who were celebrating their birthdays today. The children enjoyed it a lot, as they received party packs and also they ate the birtday cake. Hip, hip, hooray....!!!

FEBRUARY BIRTHDAYS CELEBRATION

Happy birthday to all of our children who had their birthday in the month of February. The children enjoyed the celebration a lot, received party packs and a piece of the big birthday cake. The teachers played music for them to enjoy.

HAPPY VALENTINES DAY 2020

Valentines day was well celebrated the children enjoyed a lot, they were playing different games and they also received valentines gift to give to their parents as a way of showing love. They did the art of the heart which symbolize love it was a day to remember, they were also visited by Nokuphila Preschool who showered us with gift of love and they also performed melodious songs.

JANUARY BIRTHDAYS CELEBRATIONS & WATER FUN

Friday we celebrated the birthdays of all children and teachers who had their birthday in January. Besides the nice cake we ate together we had a lot of fun with the water and were singing birthday songs in the classrooms. The weather was nice and warm, so the children enjoyed the water fun very much, splashed each other with water and were sitting in the sun to get dry and to enjoy the warmth of the sun. It was a happy and successful event!

SCHOOL OPENING 2020 (Lanto Montessori Primary School)

Lo and behold! As like a miracle on Wednesday 15 January also our Lanto Montessori Primary School was able to open. In the week before we still were tiling the classrooms and putting in all the electricity, lamps, shelves, lockers, etc. The teachers worked hard to put in the furniture and some of the educational equipment in the very spacious classrooms before the openings day. Each child has his/her own locker and the classrooms have a lot of space for interesting activities. Thanks to the management and staff the new Primary school has now started to operate. The new pavement outside makes it very easy for the parents to bring and collect their children. We thank all who made this happen and wish the parents and children a successful school year!

SCHOOL OPENING 2020

Last Wednesday 15 January both our Lanto Montessori Pre- and Primary School opened for the new school year. It was exciting to see back many children who attended last year and also many newly registered children. The children looked refreshed from the holidays and were happy to be back at school. Parents were very happy about the new pavement in front of the school, which gives a more easy access to the school, especially with rainy weather. We wish all the children and parents a happy new school year!

WATER FUN!!!

Last Friday we organized a water fun event due to the hot weather during the past week. The children came with their swimming attire and had a lot of fun in the 10 baths we purchased from the money which our dance group had won in September by winning the first prize at Blue Hills College with their dance. It was exciting to see the children playing and splashing with water. It was a nice way to cool a bit down from the above 32 degrees Celsius temperature.

CELEBRATION GRADUATION 2019

Yesterday we had a great Graduation Event at the Methodist Church with all the 33 graduates and non-graduates performing. It was an exciting program and also 4 graduates from our Soweto Lanto Montessori Pre-school were present and performing. The graduates looked most beautiful in their graduation attire and the parents were excited when they came to the stage. The toddlers were very cute and heart warming with their performance and also the ballet performances were touching. We thank all parents and all who graced the event with their presence and were very grateful for the most beautiful weather we had, as for weeks it looked that we would have a lot of rain on the graduation day.

ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING 2019 (AGM)

Our Annual General Meeting (AGM 2019) at Gallagher Convention Centre In Midrand was well attended. It was an inspiring gathering at a most beautiful location. Parents were impressed by the quality of the program.There was a presentation by the Chairman of our Board on Excellence in Education, The Principal gave an overview of of all the last year's activities and victories. A beautiful video showed our children at work and involved in all kind of activities. Also a financial report was presented and attendees enjoyed a nice lunch served during the morning break. It was a well organized and successful meeting.
