This year, our celebration holds a little more meaning as we honour that spirit through the beautiful face of our much loved friend and colleague, Lebo.

To every woman in our Midrand Montessori community, and to the women whose influence stays with us long after they have touched our lives, we celebrate you.

🕊️ In Loving Memory of Lebo and her Beautiful Family 🕊️

The Midrand Montessori community will come together to remember and honour Lebogang, Buntukazi, Lwando and Nande 🩷🩷💙🩷, whose loss has left an immeasurable space in the hearts of so many.

Lebo was so much more than a treasured member of our school community. 🩷 She was a devoted teacher, mentor, friend and mother whose kindness, compassion and love for children touched countless lives. Her passion for education and her belief in changing the world, one child at a time, will remain part of the legacy she leaves behind. 🕊️

As we prepare to gather in their memory, we extend our deepest and most heartfelt condolences to the Xolwana and Selane families, to their friends and loved ones, and to every person whose life was touched by this beautiful family. 🩷🩷💙🩷

We invite our Midrand Montessori family and community to join us as we remember them, celebrate their lives and honour the love they brought into our world. 🕊️

Independence: Conventional approaches can be teacher-directed. We nurture independence through practical life activities and child-led projects that build confidence and self-reliance from 6 months through adolescence.

Amukelani has grown up in our Montessori family — from a curious preschooler to a respected high school leader and gifted athlete. Now, at just 16, his dedication to soccer has earned him the incredible opportunity to play internationally with Kyalami United FC through the SuperSport United Global Soccer Schools program. 🌍

We are delighted to share some exciting news about one of our students, Amukelani Mokgope 💫

👦🏾 Amukelani has been part of the Midrand Montessori family since birth.
👩‍🏫 He is the son of one of our cherished staff members and has spent the past 16 years growing, learning, and thriving within our school.

📚 From the very beginning, the school proudly sponsored his education. Today he shines as a top high-school student and respected student leader, chosen by his peers.

⚽❤️ Amukelani’s passion for soccer began at just three years old. His dedication has taken him from SuperSport United Global Soccer Schools to representing Kyalami United FC.

🌍 Now his talent has earned an extraordinary opportunity:
On 1 December, Amu will travel to Spain to represent South Africa in an international soccer tour! 🇿🇦🇪🇸
