How to Help a Child Who Doesn’t Want to Read?

Many parents say: “My child refuses to read.”
This is normal — it does NOT mean your child cannot learn.

👉 Try this instead:
Read to your child first
Choose short, funny books
Use silly voices
Stop before they get tired
Praise effort, not perfection

💬 Say things like:
“I love how you tried”
“You are getting better every day”
“Let’s read together, not alone”

❌ Avoid:
shouting
comparing children
forcing long reading time

🌱 Children love reading when it feels safe and fun.
