AKADEMIE
Die graad 10- en 11- IT-leerders het die jaarlikse IEB-AI Hackathon, in samewerking met TechWays, met groot sukses aangepak. Meer as 1 500 leerders landswyd het ingeskryf. Die doel is vir leerders om met AI-oplossings vorendag te kom vir sosio-ekonomiese kwessies wat Suid-Afrikaners raak.

Two Midstream teams made us very proud. The group consisting of Tiger Wang, Kianna Chetty and Dean Brummer came in second overall, with their AI solution to water wastage. Jacques Myburgh, Arun Gounder, Luke Reyneke and O’Neile Nyoni thought of a way to help spaza shops manage stock, earning them a Top 10 place.

PUBLIC SPEAKING
Some of the most powerful things in the world are never said out loud.

We are proud of our grade 12 orators team for turning something so quiet into a conversation impossible to ignore, and for winning their category at the Pretoria Public Speaking Festival held at Cornwall Hill College. Well done!

GHOLF
Midstream College se eerste span het vandag aan die promosie-relegasietoernooi deelgeneem, en sodoende vir Johannesburg se Superliga in 2027 gekwalifiseer.
Midstream het uitstekend presteer, en met 50 punte die toernooi in die eerste plek voltooi.
Baie geluk aan al die spelers met hul harde werk, toewyding en prestasie. Ons is trots op julle!

NETBALL
Our teams took on Centurion on Wednesday in another exciting round of fixtures. For some of our teams, this marked the final matches of the season, while others will continue their journey in the weeks ahead.

Thank you to every player, coach and supporter for the dedication, teamwork and spirit shown throughout the season so far.

PUBLIC SPEAKING
Monsters under the bed are easy. The monsters within us? Those are the real challenge. We are proud of our grade 8 orators team for tackling such a powerful theme — and winning while doing it.

NETBAL
Ons eerste span het gisteraand hul laaste ligawedstryd teen Centurion gespeel. Ná die wedstryd het die o. 14-span elke graad 12-leerder wat ‘n lid was van die span met ’n pragtige bos blomme verras – ’n besonderse oomblik om hul bydrae en harde werk te vier.

Baie sterkte aan al die spelers wat aan die Tshwane-uitspele gaan deelneem. Ons ondersteun julle met trots!

AKADEMIE
Die Pit-produksiespan het weer vanjaar die graad 12 Afrikaans Eerste Addisionele Taal-leerders se voorgeskrewe werk op ’n lewendige en interaktiewe wyse aangebied.
Soos elke jaar was dit uitstekende voorbereiding vir die eksamen later vanjaar.

CULTURE
