PREPARATORY Summerhill Girls' Soccer

To provide our girls with valuable match experience and additional game time, Summerhill arranged a friendly fixture against Boots Soccer Club.

Boots Soccer Club features both district and provincial players, including five talented Summerhill girls who proudly represent the club.

With the official soccer season now concluded and our winter sporting focus shifting to hockey, this friendly match provided an excellent opportunity for our players to enjoy one final competitive outing, continue developing their skills, and celebrate the season together.

Well done to all the players for their commitment, teamwork and sportsmanship!

Grade 9 horseback archer hits the mark every time | Midrand Reporter Young archer Anushka Sharma says resilience, and focusing on improving, rather than listening to the ‘You can’t do it’ sayers, is what has kept her growing in the sport.

NURSERY
Today, we were privileged to welcome 16 learners to Summerhill Nursery School as part of our Mandela Day celebrations.

The excitement of cupcakes, pizza, juice, and party packs was matched only by the joy on their faces as they explored our playgrounds.

Their excellent manners, warm smiles, and willingness to make new friends reminded us of the true spirit of Mandela Day.

Together, they taught us a humbling lesson about sharing, caring, and being grateful for what we have - proving that kindness is the greatest gift of all.
